This module will support pharmacists in their independent prescribing journey, helping to overcome personal barriers and build on the experience of Pharmacy First to expand their practice and assume greater clinical responsibility.

- From September 2026, all newly qualified pharmacists will be independent prescribers from the day of their registration. This will further integrate prescribing into everyday practice in community pharmacy.
